Chapter 1: A New Academic Path
A few months back, I shared my plans to enhance my undergraduate qualifications to prepare for graduate studies. During this process, I stumbled upon the fascinating field of Rhetoric—a subject I had not previously considered when I first enrolled in university many years ago.
Those who know me or have followed my writing might be surprised to learn that I hadn’t thought of Rhetoric as an academic focus, given my passion for debate and persuasive writing.
Not only did I uncover a deep appreciation for Rhetoric and Communication studies, but I was also fortunate to find an outstanding professor at my local university, which happens to be my alma mater.
