Chapter 1: Introduction to Alastria's H+ Network
In this article, we discuss a recent webinar titled "Alastria's H+ Network Powered by Hyperledger Fabric." Esteemed speakers Jorge Ordovás Oromendía and Montse Guardia Guell shared insights on the features of this new infrastructure. This network is designed to provide partners with tailored and guaranteed service levels for deploying critical applications. Additionally, María Salgado Iturrino from Inetum elaborated on the implementation of #AlastriaID within this innovative network.
Section 1.1: The Evolution of Alastria's Networks
When Alastria was established three years ago, Quorum was chosen to launch its first network. Currently, the T Network, utilized by over 100 Alastria partners, remains based on Quorum. However, as technology has advanced, several alternatives have emerged to fulfill Alastria's goals. Among these, Hyperledger Fabric has increasingly become the industry standard for enterprise blockchain networks.
Section 1.2: The Integration of Networks
The new H+ Network, built on Hyperledger Fabric, complements existing networks such as the T Network on Quorum and the B Network utilizing Hyperledger Besu. It also builds upon the collaborative efforts with other Alastria partners on the H Network using Fabric technology. This new infrastructure is designed to enable seamless connectivity with both existing networks and the upcoming European blockchain infrastructure.
Chapter 2: Future Applications and Identity Solutions
The H+ Network will allow partners to connect natively with these established networks and the future European blockchain framework. The inaugural application to be launched will be the Alastria ID identity model, a sovereign digital identity protocol that has become a standard in Spain and Europe. Alastria ID is already in use by partners across various technology-driven networks.
